We ARE NOT Raising Our Prices!

Chloe and I keep hearing the news people talk about something called inflation. We asked Mom and Dad what it meant. "Well, Woody," Dad answered, "it means the cost of things we buy keep getting inflated - or bigger. So if prices increase one place, they usually increase other places too. That means everyone has to raise their prices to have enough money to pay for things."

Our family talked about it and decided that with the exception of the stand alone family reading night and also the library visit, (which are both the same price), we would not raise our prices for the 2022-23 school year. Therefore, our all day school visits, half day visits, all day school visits and family night will not increase!

Kentucky Greetings! My name is Dogwood but my friends call me Woody. I'm a black and tan miniature dachshund, or wiener dog, from Kentucky - making me Woody, The Kentucky Wiener! My wiener dog sister, Chloe, along with my human mom and dad, spend our days in schools, libraries, churches, and other venues presenting my signature program Woody's Five Ways to be Successful and also Woody's Five Ways to Improve Writing. We have spoken throughout the southeast, although the majority of time is spent in the Bluegrass State. In fact, we have spoken in 117 of Kentucky's 120 counties. We would love to visit your organization and spread our message. Anything is possible but you have to...

WORK AND DREAM LIKE A BIG DOG!

OCTOBER IS ADOPT A SHELTER DOG MONTH!
Woody on Broadway

October - the tenth month of the year! It's the month we celebrate lots of things like cookies, coffee, frappes, gumbo, eggs and dessert. Chloe and I have never had coffee, frappes or gumbo, but they sound delicious. In the middle of all those tasty treats, October is also a month dedicated to shelter dogs.

Adopting a dog from a shelter is a wonderful thing to do. It's been said that when you adopt a dog from a shelter, you save 3 lives - the dog's life, another's dog's life who takes your dog's place in the shelter, and your own life. "How does adopting a dog save your life?" you may ask. Well, studies show getting a dog has several benefits. It relieves stress, increases physical activity, and brings joy to the home. Thinking of getting a dog? Check out your local animal shelter.
